Well, I had a feeling an episode like this would happen sooner or later...
Not stalking, just watching |
So it starts off with Heroine finally finding the phone she has been seeking since episode 1. As she attempts to use said phone, she notices the Emo Shota watching her, and is frightened. She tries to be casual about it, and the Emo Shota asks "don't you understand why I'm here?" He tells her he and his "Teddy" are thirsty. She apologizes to him and the bear. He tells her not to address Teddy as though she knows him (well OK then) and that he's the only advisor he needs (not sure if acting like a child, or crazy, or both).
She gets Emo Shota coffee. He has a shit fit. He smacks the coffee out her hand, and starts yelling at her telling her he hates bitter things (then be more specific next time). He then proceeds to call her worthless. She apologizes, but he screams at her some more, telling her she doesn't mean it.
She asks what he wants from her, he tells her he wants her to figure it out herself. She offers to buy him something else, but he says he's no longer interested.
He then asks her if the coffee splashed on her fingers, and if it was painfully hot (suddenly, he cares). He then licks her finger, and questions her whether or not she hates him, and if she wants to learn more about him (???). She tells him she doesn't hate him, and she would indeed like to know more about him. He then walks away telling her to make the effort to understand him (lol wut). Also, he left her bag on the roof...as punishment, also, the phone's been broken for weeks.
SURPRISE!
The Fedora answers the phone.
How, you ask? You tell me.
Over the phone, the Fedora tells the Heroine that he knows everything about her.
She runs out of the phone booth only to bump into...Fedora..
He asks her if she enjoyed her short-lived freedom (so close...damn it).
Suddenly, a man by the name of Tougo Sakamaki appears on the giant TV on one of the buildings. Fedora explains that it's him and his brothers' dad, and that he hates him and blah, blah, blah. Then Heroine starts staring hard at the image on screen, muttering the man's name, she then mumbles "Karl Heinz.." (surprising Fedora) and passes out. Fedora looks at her with a stunned expression, and asks the comatose Heroine "who are you?"
Heroine then wakes up in her room, and runs out to perhaps attempt another escape. She finds a church outside, and goes in there to pray. Fedora arrives, and they argue about religion for awhile (an arguement I'm sure everyone has at some point).
During this confrontation, the fedora comes off the man's head. As things get worse in this religious confrontation, we see this guy again:
Mystery man finds a hidden doorway behind a bookshelf. He walks through an absolutely gorgeously decorated hallway, and comes to a dress that is ripped up and bloody in the chest area. Who does this dress belong to? 'Tis a mystery.
Somehow, things escalated to rape. It was only a matter of time. He asks her if she's angry, tells her that her eyes are fascinating (they're pink), and to go ahead, that it's cute (?). He tells her to get angrier if she wants, and he even gives her permission to call him names (I think that fedora was holding his sanity) all while his face is flushed.
He tells her that no matter how hard she tries, she will never be a match for him, because he's inhuman. He begins to unbutton her shirt, all while telling her that she'll submit to him and show him places that she "has been too embarrassed to show anyone."
If this hasn't registered to you yet, she's about to get raped.
For real.
No joke.
Yup.
He kisses her thigh twice, then bites it. After he finishes sucking blood from her thigh, he asks her if it hurts (no shit, it hurts). He calls her a "poor thing" and tells her that he'll make it hurt even more. Heroine's eyes are tearing up, and she looks like she's holding in her urge to cry. Then the former Fedora lets her in on a "secret."
So it turns out, her church sent her to the house of rapists! Do you smell controversy? I do!
Heroine is shocked, and former Fedora is enjoying every second of this. He picks up where he left off, whispering to Heroine follow him down to hell. He then says that no one has been saved by their belief.
Serious Face: OFF |

*Sniff, sniff* I could swear I smell a plot in here somewhere... |

Crap, his hat fell, I don't know what to call him now |
'eey, people aren't allowed in there! |
Oh, so it's okay if he does this somewhere else? |

Well, in the case of quite a few churches, it's not like they don't have blood on their hands (get it? Blood? Ta ha ha!) |

Episode rating 2/10, as much as I love religious controversy, I hate the rapey-ness of this show. I felt disgusting after watching this, like I want to take a bath...right now. On a less important note, what exactly happened in between this and last episode's events? They always seem to forget these things....
